Virtues of Tasbih and the Number of Times
SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi One Hundred Times
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever says SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi one hundred times a day, his sins are wiped away even if they are like the foam of the sea” (Narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim). And for the morning and evening: “No one will come on the Day of Resurrection with anything better than what he brings, except someone who said the same as he said or more” (Narrated by Muslim).
SubhanAllahil-'Azim (Glory be to Allah, the Magnificent)
Together with “SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi”, these are the two words that are light on the tongue and heavy on the Scale (Narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim).

Tasbih After Prayer
SubhanAllah 33, Alhamdulillah 33 and Allahu Akbar 33 times, completing the hundred with “La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir” (There is no god but Allah alone, without partner; His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things). Whoever says it, “his sins are forgiven even if they are like the foam of the sea” (Narrated by Muslim).
Al-Baqiyat al-Salihat

Istighfar (Seeking Forgiveness)
“Astaghfirullahal-'Azim” (I seek forgiveness from Allah, the Magnificent) and “Astaghfirullaha wa atubu ilayh” (I seek Allah's forgiveness and repent to Him). The Prophet ﷺ said: “I repent to Allah one hundred times a day” (Narrated by Muslim). Its best form is Sayyid al-Istighfar (Narrated by al-Bukhari).
